Don't look up

For the launch of the film “Don’t Look Up” on Netflix, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence, a highly impactful interactive installation was created in the center of Milan. This project, active for two days, offered a unique immersive experience designed to engage the audience in a direct and personalized way. The installation, set in a highly technological environment, allowed participants to embark on a sensory journey guided by their own choices. In line with the film's theme, users were invited to select a symbolic item to save from humanity’s cultural or material heritage, imagining a time capsule to preserve in the face of an impending apocalypse. The experience was enriched by a compelling narrative that guided visitors step by step, while a real-time video visualized, through hand-drawn sketches, the item each participant chose to save. This approach provided a high level of interactivity, making every participant the protagonist of their own story and, symbolically, of humanity’s future.

The installation saw high participation, attracting passersby of all ages. The audience's reactions, often filled with wonder and amazement, confirmed the effectiveness of the experience in creating an emotional connection through the use of technology. Visual and auditory inputs fostered a sense of synergy between the project and its visitors, further enhancing engagement. This event stands as an excellent example of how technology can serve creativity, generating emotions and enriching cultural and artistic experiences. The installation highlighted the potential of interactive experiences to transform multimedia content into meaningful and memorable moments.
